Summing up '08, livin' up to '09

I may have stolen these. Sue me.

2008 Quiz
1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Went to London all on my own for 4 days. In that trip I've seen McFly, and my very first West End musical - Wicked!

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I never make new years' resolutions. So no on both occasions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Well not exactly close to me but the only person I sort-of know that gave birth is the secretary whose job I stole :P

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
England.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A clear view of where I want my life to go. And more money to travel.

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
November 27th - thank you, McFly. And August 13th - my army release. Also February 11th - the psychometric exam. And March 12th - the day I moved from the senior personnel department to Yohalan.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Going to London all on my own and proving myself I can.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Working at Yediot Aharonot. It just didn't work out, I'm not a saleswoman.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, thank goodness.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Oh to name a few: Jack's Mannequin's "The Glass Passenger" and "Everything In Transit" records in their special-edition version, the Twilight books, a ton of books bought in England, a couple ordered online, the McFly tickets and the Wicked tickets.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
David's. He's awesome.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My sister's.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Towards my London trip.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
London, baby!

Richer. I actually make money now.

Traveling.

Army.

I spent it working. YES I DON'T DO CHRISTMAS.

Zero

Hard to decide.... I suppose "House" rules them all.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Probably.

26. What was the best book you read?
Probably "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Jack's Mannequin/Something Corporate. Yes, I didn't listen to them before '08!

28. What did you want and get?
To see McFly live. And some independence. And to see my friends in London.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Probably "Twilight" judging by the amount of times I've seen it. And "The Dark Knight".

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 20 and I didn't do anything interesting.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Still retarded.

34. What kept you sane?
My London trip. Which came at the very end of the year. Till then, I was a lunatic!

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
David Cook.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Operation Cast Lead. Still does.

37. Who did you miss?
David and Uma. And I got to see them and then I didn't miss them anymore.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Well I didn't "meet" her as in face-to-face and I knew her from before, but I got really close to Binha this year, and consider myself fortunate for that.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:
The army will fuck you over and repeatedly until you kneel down and beg for mercy. Resistance is futile.

2009 Quiz
1. Will you be looking for a new job?
Eventually, yes. When I leave this temp job of mine.

2. Will you be looking for a new relationship?
Always.

3. New house?
Nope. Already moved.

4. What will you do different in 09?
Get my shit together.

5. New Years resolution?
To get my shit together :P

6. What will you not be doing in 09?
I won't be going to the US of A, it would seem.

7. Any trips planned?
Hopefully London again by the end of the year to see the 'Fly boys again.

8. Wedding plans?
Nope.

9. Major thing on your calender?
Nothing much at present.

10. What can't you wait for?
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie.

11. What would you like to see happen differently?
My lovelife.

12. What about yourself will you be changing?
Hopefully some laser to shed some old demons.

15. Will you dress differently this year then you did in 08?
Nothing major. I might actually buy some clothes for a change.

16. Will you start or quit drinking?
Don't drink, don't plan on starting to.

17. Will you better your relationship with your family?
Nope. What you see is what you get.

18. Will you do philanthropy work?
I doubt it.

19. Will you go to bars?
No.

20. Will you be nice to people you don't know?
I'm mostly nice to everyone so yeah.

21. Do you expect 09 to be a good year for you?
I'm not sure. Hopefully.

22. How much did you change from last year to this year?
I've changed a ton. More mature, sobered up (not drink wise but more reality wise), more determined, hopefully a little more focused.

23. Do you plan on having a child?
Nope.

24. Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now?
More than likely.

25. Major lifestyle changes?
Well I'm hoping to start uni in the fall.

26. Will you be moving?
No.

27. What will you make sure doesn't happen in 09 that happened in 2008?
Enslavement and unhappiness like the Fuhrer and the army brought me.

28. What are your New Years Eve plans?
Well, I went to sleep :P

29. Will you have someone to kiss at midnight?
My pillow.

30. One wish for 09?
To finally achieve happiness.
