Electronic devices give me a headache
Today was a tiring, hot day. I woke up at 7:45am so I can get dressed and go walk my aunt's dog. I then had to rush home so I can go shopping with dad. The goals were: fans for my room and my sisters, and a DVD recorder for me. So we went around a few shops, the heat was unbearable but we ended up finding both. Though, Dad's cheapness made him only buy one fan, which went to my room. Sorry sister, gotta look out for no.1.
Then when I got home, I called the cable company to ask them to send a tech guy to install the DVD. The woman tried to explain it to me over the phone and we came to the frustrating conclusion my TV only has one AV channel which complicates things. I need the cables and the DVD to work at the same time so I can record stuff off it... so for the small price of 100 shekels, a tech guy will come yesterday. Meanwhile I'll do my homework to make sure he doesn't leave here without working it out. We have to pay him even if he doesn't and I'll be damned if he leaves here with me empty-handed. Le sigh.
Today is also far from over. I'm supposed to go to grandma's and get a key to her house plus instructions on how to water my grandfather's garden because they're going to Bulgaria (no, I don't know what they lost there) on a trip. In the evening, I have to take aunt's dog on a walk again and somewhere there I need to write a CV. It's funny that I have nothing to write there. Actually it's rather sad. I think I'm going to go and read Twilight and sulk some. Oooh, Edward.
